About.

The Cody Country Snowmobile Association (CCSA) is committed to making sure snowmobiling remains a favorite past time! We operate and maintain the Beartooth Safety Shelter, participate in yearly trail maintenance and marking, volunteer for highway clean ups, host several events, give to a variety of local charities, provide scholarship opportunities to local kids, and most importantly promote and preserve your right to snowmobile on our public lands!

CCSA’s Purpose: (taken from the by-laws)

  1. To promote good will and enhance the image of the sport of snowmobiling.

  2. To promote and preserve existing snowmobile areas.

  3. To study the development of new snowmobile areas.

  4. To cultivate cordial relations among the members of the club and encourage cooperation with private land owners, the Forest Service, the National Park, the Game and Fish Commission and other federal, state and local agencies to obtain permission to use such property for the benefit of snowmobilers.

  5. To promote safety in the use of snowmobiles.

Remember, numbers are everything when dealing in legislative and environmental matters. As an organized group we can fight to keep our favorite areas free of wilderness and preserve our rights to multiple use lands in Wyoming.
