Cody Country Snowmobile Association

Meeting Minutes

April 6, 2016

President Levi Signor called the meeting to order at the Sunset House. We had 14 members in attendance.

Rob Marshall gave an update on Fun Days and the WSSA meeting that was held in Dubois. They had a great turnout for Fun Days and the 3 clubs that were hosting Fun Days did a great job. Even though the economy across the state of Wyoming seems to be down a little bit we were still very fortunate to be able to fund 7 scholarships and help Access Wyoming out along the way.

We scheduled to pull our trail markers on Saturday, April 9th and then BBQ burgers for lunch. Brenda Miller will then send an invoice to State Trails for marking the Beartooth trail system.

Our Spring Highway Cleanup is scheduled for Sunday, June 5th. We will meet at the Chief Joseph game check pullout. When we are finished we will again have a BBQ.

We are scheduling Avalanche Training on the weekend of January 6th & 7th, 2017. This will be done through the Teton Avalanche Center again. We had some general discussion and will finalize things next season.

Lucas Lamb was awarded a $500 scholarship from CCSA.

We then had elections, the results are as follows:

President - Dustin Rosencranse

Vice President - Cameron Boni

Treasurer - Jenni Rosencranse

Secretary Jessica Carter

Directors Dustin Rosencranse, Levi Signor, Rob Marshall, Bert Miller and Ed Higbie

Other Appointments:

Social Media/Web Jessica Carter & Levi Signor

Wrangler Reporter Brenda Miller

We will not have a person to call and remind members of club functions. We are hoping to be able to send mass text messages as well as email reminders.

There was then discussion about who to elect as our WSSA District Rep. The general consensus of the club members in attendance our meeting was that our District Rep should be someone that is a director of CCSA. If the CCSA director is unable to attend the WSSA meeting then one of the other directors will be selected to attend the WSSA meeting. Rob Marshall was elected to be our WSSA District Rep.

We then had a little bit of discussion about creating posters for the club next fall. As well as threw out a few ideas of things we can do to try to make our meetings more fun. Like have a photo contest, GoPro video contest, and anything else we can come up with.

We did not have a 50/50 drawing.

Our next meeting will be in the Fall on September 7th. Stay tuned for location and what we will do for food.

The meeting was adjourned.

Respectively submitted,

Brenda Miller

Past-CCSA Secretary
